Tasked with maximising space while honouring the home’s traditional aesthetic, Ashgrove Bespoke Cabinetry designed and fitted a pull-out unit that appears as elegant wall panelling when closed. The unit features a classic Shaker-style framed design, meticulously painted to match the surrounding staircase spindles and newel post, effectively making the joinery disappear into the architecture. The true brilliance lies in the functionality: a series of robust, deep drawers glide out on precision runners, providing easily accessible storage for coats, shoes, or household essentials. Finished internally with a warm, durable wood-effect veneer, this installation not only dramatically enhances the hallway’s function but elevates its design, proving that even the most awkward spaces can become a beautiful, tailored asset to a home.
